OT: Best Seattle food around HMCon?

This is a thread for food suggestions in Seattle around the time of HMCon.

Some Casey suggestions from today's prestream:
Campfire BBQ (Friday afternoon or Sunday morning. See my reply below about getting a group together to go here on Sunday.)
Seven Stars Szechuan
Millers Guild

Those with knowledge of food in Seattle, please suggest more!

While we're on the topic of Handmade Con, any hotel recommendations?

I tried AirBnB but the website had some bug that prevented things from working, and they had no way to file a bug report. Oh well.

Anyway it would be fun to stay at a hotel where other attendees are staying, I think.
Quite a few people are staying at the Green Tortoise.
They're actually staying at the Marriott. As far as I know, I'm the only one staying at the Green Tortoise. The way I added myself to the spreadsheet was a bit clumsy, so I've changed that now.
It seems that many of us are going to miss the Campfire BBQ place at lunchtime on Friday since our planes get in too late, but they're open on Sunday Dec 6th at 10AM at a place called the Runway Cafe at 1128 S Albro Pl.

If enough people want to go, we can make a group trip there -- it seems about 10 minutes by cab or 25 minutes by bus (one way) from the Seattle Public Library.

I plan on eating there on Thursday, and if it's as good as Casey says, probably again on Friday.
I won't be able to join you on Sunday though, as I'll be at the airport by then.
I could eat some BBQ :-)

I'm in Seattle from friday at 6 PM until monday morning. Any recommendations for what to see or do?

EDIT: Also if anyone want to grab a beer after the conference I'm ready :-)

Maybe we should start a list or a separate thread for organizing meetups before and after the conference?

Definitely would like to meet up with people and chat!
Hi everyone.
I would love to meet up and join a group.
Has something been organized ?
I can create a public Google spreadsheet where we can easily organize common activities.
I arrive on Thursday noon on December 3rd.
I public spreadsheet would be nice. My initial plan was shouting "Master Spy!!" while walking around Seattle to see if someone recognized the secret HMH handshake, but I like your plan better.

I'm up for dinner on the 3rd.
Happy to hear. That was my plan B ;).
Created a spreadsheet with the first entry.

I set the time to 18:00/6pm and haven't quite decided where to eat, I'm currently between
8oz Burger or Millers Guild, but feel free to change time or place.

Added myself to the spreadsheet.
I'm already in Seattle if anyone wants meet up.
I'll try to be there, but depending on how much hassle they give me at the airport (can't you believe the US regulations on plutonium imports?) I may not make it.
