Perhaps inspired by HH, Tom Francies, the creator of Gunpoint, has started a new Youtube series on making a game from scratch.

He's using GameMaker, so I'm guessing it's focused more on game design than bare-bones coding.

The announcement has mentioned it will be 1-2 hours a week.

Neat series! It looks like it'll be an interesting contrast to HH, sort of like the other end of the coin (do coins have "ends"? No, I guess they have "sides." oh well, too late to go back and change it now!).

Wow I had no idea gunpoint was the gunpoint guy's first game. Very inspiring. BTW here's some more info about the gunpoint dev process. And look at this devlog, scrumptious! Love it, I eat that kind of thing up..

This guy's got a great, cheery attitude. It just goes to show you, making games makes you happy!
