The Game!
Why is no one talking about the game yet?? I'm assuming that's what the "Game Discussion" section is for. Or is it for games in general? I'm going with the Handmade Hero game.

Is the game called Handmade Hero? Does it have a name??

The game, like the series, is also called Handmade Hero :) And yes, this is a forum for talking about it, once it is in at least a semi-playable state! I appreciate that there is probably not much to talk about just yet.

I have a big problem with the current balance of the game.

The A button is way too OP with how fast it makes the boxes scroll.

I demand a refund and an apology from the developer!

Whoa now. That'll be fixed in the day 1 patch.

We didn't want to spoil the surprise, but you can also get some B button action... exclusively with the season pass for only $29.99!

The gold-plated guns you get with the Deluxe Edition really make the A button less of an issue.

Oops, didn't mean to reply with this account. But do notice the CSS consequences of my username length (among other things).

Try adding something like this to your CSS:

.kpost-username {
  width: 171px;
  white-space: nowrap;
  overflow: hidden;
  text-overflow: ellipsis;

I've discovered an interesting easter egg of sorts in the game. If you look in the "code" directory, you'll find all the source code to the entire game.

From there you can literally open it up and change anything you want. It's pretty crazy. I changed the whole screen to green. It was kind of tough to see the game, from all the green, but I still managed to play by going mostly from sound.

The gold-plated guns are not available in the Deluxe Edition™. You are confusing it with the Day Zero© Handmade® DLC Pack™, which is only available if you preordered Handmade Hero® from GameStop®. The only difference between the Regular Edition™ and the Deluxe Edition™ is that you get the prerelease Handmade® Hangar Module™ 24 hours earlier.

And remember, collect all 10 SKUs to get the "X-SKUs me, Princess!" in-game item! That's the only way to unlock Cel shading mode and the "Cel-Duh" achievement!

Also keep in mind that this is the first game to feature "meta-achievements", which are achievements whose sole requirements are that you achieve specific combinations of other achievements.

It is what gamers have been waiting for!

And of course, if you want to get the meta-achievement "Money for Nothing" that says "Get the achievements 'Chicks for Free' and 'He's a Millionaire' without getting 'Bangin on the Bongos'" don't accidentally do the Bongos one or you need to buy the game again to complete it.

Just kidding... loving it.
But seriously, 15 episodes and still no dragons...

(nasally voice) Ahem, yes, on the Handmade Hero CD-ROM, is there a waay to get out of the dungeon without using the wizard key?

You jest, but Ingress already has this. Sigh.
