I now watch an episode once, then watch the code parts again and code along. I find stopping and starting the first time through can make it hard to follow sometimes.

Yes you see absolutely everything. If you pay the $15 you get the code and access to the Github and on it there's a repository where every code change is referenced to a point in each video.
