None of the standard system fonts, including my favorite, Droid, seems to handle kerning well with T as the second character.

I've been looking at different fonts to see if any of them having kerning information for the "pT" in RenderGroupToOutput. The only one I found was a font called Cabin (OFL).

Calluna Sans has kerning for 'pT' as well, and overall good kerning.
Calluna handles the 'pT' better than most fonts as well. This font is used fairly regularly in publishing (e.g. music repertoire books that I work on).
