Bluetooth
IrDA
Mobile Broadband
Native Wifi
Windows Connect Now
Windows Connection Manager

Where games can sync and assigned players become multiplayers as a whole for the game.

I think Casey said in a stream that there isn't a plan for non-local multiplayer (not even over "classical" network). So probably not or not until a few years or so.

Also, what do things like "Windows Connect Now" (which, if I'm not mistaken, is a scheme to easily connect your computer to your wireless router) have to do with a game?
